Historic Day At The General Assembly!
April 27th was an historic day at the State House! Two very important bills are on their way to the Governor!
Pro-Life Bill Passes!
House Bill 1210 is quite possibly the most important pro-life bill to ever pass the General Assembly! HB 1210 passed by a vote of 66 to 32! Here are some of the provisions of HB 1210!
• Abortions are banned in Indiana after 20 weeks except
to save the life of the mother!
• Indiana’s informed consent for abortion law was strengthened to require women seeking an abortion to get information in writing including the fact that life begins at conception, the medical risks of an abortion and that the unborn baby may feel pain when the abortion occurs!
Planned Parenthood Defunded!
House Bill 1210 also defunded Planned Parenthood! Planned Parenthood is the #1 abortion provider in Indiana and America! They should not get any money from the taxpayers of Indiana!

School Choice Legislation Passes Too!
Every child in Indiana should have the opportunity to get a first class education! House Bill 1003 will help enable parents, based on their family income, to be able to choose a Christian school for their child.
House Bill 1003 passed by a vote of 56 to 43!
Parents who qualify for a choice scholarship will receive a voucher to be able to go to a Christian school.
There is also language that will provide a $1,000 tax deductionfor parents who have their child in a non-public school including a Christian school or home school.
This is the first step in the effort to enable every parent to one day be able to choose the best school for their child including a public, charter, private, Christian or homeschool!
