*Last Family and Freedom Day Held February 23rd!*

Advance America once again hosted Family and Freedom Days at the State House during the 2010 General Assembly.

These briefings were held in January and February on Tuesday mornings.  The day got started with Eric Miller, Founder of Advance America, discussing what was happening in the General Assembly, discussing how a bill becomes a law and the importance of citizen involvement.

A Visit To The State House!

Eric then led the participants to the State House where they were briefed by Chris Crabtree, Chief of Staff to Lt. Governor Becky Skillman.  On some of the Family and Freedom Days trips to the State House individuals were able to meet and hear from the #2 elected official in Indiana – Lt. Governor Becky Skillman.  Lt. Governor Skillman thanked those who took the time to come to the State House and urged them to stay involved in their government.

Meeting Their Senator and Representative!

Individuals then went to meet and talk with their Senator and Representative about issues of importance to them and their family.

Thank You for Coming to
Family and Freedom Days!

We want to publicly thank those who came to a Family and Freedom Day briefing at the State House.  Individuals came from around the state.  Ten to fifteen emails and phone calls are an avalanche on most issues.  Two to three individuals who take the time to travel to the State House with Advance America make a huge impact too!

More Family and Freedom Days
