*Update on SJR 13 to Protect Marriage!*
On Wednesday, January 20th the Senate Judiciary Committee took the first step in the effort to pass a Constitutional Amendment to protect marriage between one man and one woman. The Judiciary Committee voted 6-4 to pass Senate Joint Resolution 13 (SJR 13). SJR 13 is sponsored by Senator Carlin Yoder (R-Middlebury), s12@in.gov. I had the privilege of being the closing speaker in suport of SJR 13.
What SJR 13 Would Do!
SJR 13 would amend the Indiana Constitution to protect marriage between one man and one woman and stop same sex civil unions!
