The Iowa Supreme Court unanimously ruled in April that same sex couples could get married there. The Iowa legislature did not vote to approve same sex marriages and the voters of Iowa did not vote to approve same sex marriages.  What happened in Iowa could happen in Indiana!  The current leadership in the House of Representatives has blocked the full House from voting on a Constitutional Amendment to protect marriage between one man and one woman and to ban same sex civil unions.  Speaker of the House Pat Bauer does not support giving the citizens of Indiana the right to vote to protect marriage.  Indiana must adopt a Constitutional Amendment to protect marriage so we do not become like Iowa!
