The 2011 General Assembly passed the most expansive school choice legislation in the nation. The legislation passed last year enables Hoosier families, who meet certain income requirements, to utilize a voucher to attend a Christian school.
There will no doubt be attempts in the 2012 session to weaken the school choice legislation. Instead of weakening the law, legislators should be looking at ways to strengthen the law and open the door for more children to be able to go to a Christian school!
