House Bill 1210 Passed April 19th!
House Bill 1210 is one of the most important pro-life bills to pass the State Senate in decades! The bill passed by a vote of 35 to 13.

House Bill 1210 Provisions!
Here are some of the pro-life provisions of HB 1210:
- Abortions after the 20th week are banned in Indiana except to save the life of the mother.
- Indiana’s informed consent for abortion law is strengthened to require pregnant women seeking an abortion to be informed in writing about the medical risks of an abortion, the fact that life begins at conception and the fact that the unborn baby may feel pain when the abortion occurs.
- Planned Parenthood, America’s #1 abortion provider, will no longer be able to receive taxpayer dollars in Indiana!
What’s Next For House Bill 1210?
House Bill 1210 will now go back to the House of Representatives. Hopefully the House will agree with changes made in the Senate to House Bill 1210 including the defunding of Planned Parenthood. Once they do that the bill will go to Governor Daniels for his signature.
