Vote Could Come Soon!

The federal hate crimes bills should NOT pass!

The U.S. Senate in Washington D.C. could be voting soon on one of two hate crimes bills. H.R.1913 has already passed the U.S. House of Representatives.  S.909 authored by U.S. Senator Ted Kennedy is also awaiting action in the U.S. Senate.  The supporters of hate crimes legislation could also offer the bill as an amendment to another bill.

Congressman Pence is Right!
Congressman Pence is right when he says that:

  1. The government should punish actions not thoughts.
  2. The legislation is unnecessary because crimes against people are already being prosecuted in all 50 states.
  3. The hate crimes bill could adversely impact the religious freedom and religious expression of Americans.

Please vote against S. 909 and H.R. 1913 and any other hate crime legislation.
The federal government should not be giving recognition and special protection
to homosexuals, male cross-dressers and pedophiles.  These bills could also be
the first step in criminally prosecuting pastors who speak out against
         homosexuals, male cross-dressers and pedophiles.
